Admin Guide: Managing Your Operation
As an Admin, you have the tools to configure your company, manage your subscription, and track the overall ROI provided by Klau's optimization.
1. Company Configuration
Your company profile is the foundation of our optimization engine. Make sure your Main Yard Address is accurate, as this is used to calculate drive times for yard returns.
- Timezone: Ensure your company timezone is set correctly for accurate scheduling.
- Twilio Integration: Each hauler receives a dedicated SMS phone number for driver and customer communication.
- Language Preferences: Support a diverse fleet with automated SMS onboarding in English and Spanish.
2. Team Management & Invitations
Invite your team to collaborate on Klau. You can manage roles and permissions from the Team Settings page.
- Inviting Users: Send secure email invitations to dispatchers and other admins. Invitations are valid for 48 hours.
- Role-Based Access: Assign roles like Admin (full access), Dispatcher (board access), or Viewer (read-only).
- Security: Revoke invitations or disable user accounts instantly if someone leaves the team.
3. Subscription & Billing
Your first 14 days have no platform fee - you only pay $0.30 per job you optimize. You can track your usage via the banner at the top of your dashboard.

* Each subscription plan covers a single legal entity operating out of a single dispatch yard. Multi-yard and regional scale support is currently on the roadmap (Q1 2026).
4. Performance Metrics & Reports
Klau provides real-time visibility into your operation's health. Visit your Reports page to track key performance indicators:
Job Completion
Track your daily and monthly completion rates to ensure service reliability.
Driver Activity
See a breakdown of jobs completed by each driver to manage workload balancing.
Status Breakdown
Monitor the distribution of jobs across Unassigned, Assigned, In-Progress, and Completed.
5. Developer Settings
If your team builds internal tools or uses a 3rd-party vendor, you can manage API Keys and Webhooks in the Developer Settings menu.
